Unless we are misreading the information on the BGW page, you can use your Summer Bring a Friend pass for the first 1-2 weekends of HOS. That would mean that you could bring a friend twice, during the event.

Summer Bring a Friend runs "between" 01 July and 30 September. HOS starts on 23 September.

So, you could use your Summer pass on 23, 24, 29, and maybe 30 September for HOS; and then your Fall Bring a Friend pass for the remainder of the event.

I hope they do a fall this year. For some reason I though there was a post earlier stating they were only doing Spring and Summer.

ETA: I found the post on the first page. It talks about receiving a response from BGW stating only two free bring a friend tickets this year. But, the response also stated the free seasons would be Summer and Fall, not spring and summer. Since we have already had a free spring and now summer, I am hoping they changed their minds about only two seasons this year and that we will still get a free fall ticket as well.

My impression was that the passes were for Summer and Fall, and that Spring was added to those two.

So, no Beer Fest or HOS.

That is really interesting, since I screenshotted this yesterday:

I just checked it still says that today. It's hard to believe that the park would send out conflicting info like that it really makes them look amateurish.

Has anyone used this (bring a friend) discount recently? I was planning to bring someone tomorrow but can't find details online anywhere. Thanks.

I used it last weekend. Take your pass to the kiosk at the front gates and then scan it and it will print out the bring a friend ticket. There is someone stationed next to the kiosk to help if you have an issue. They can also print it out if the kiosk fails.

Does anyone know if the Friend passes must be used on the same day they are redeemed from the kiosk? I am asking because we will be bringing a friend there there two days in a row and we like to park in England (Platinum entry). I dont want to walk up the hill both days if I can just use each of our passes to get the freebies on the first trip.

You can use the kiosk that is to the right of the turnstiles.

I also posted the Pass Member Preview Night info here.

So the pass holder bring a friend passes are only good 6 specific days for hos??

Life is like a roller coaster, It might be scary, but in the end you want to do it again.

That's what we did. I would have liked to print both days at the same time just to save time, but I didn't want to risk it so we did it each day.

They seem to be really paying attention to this. When we went in on Saturday the lady scanning tickets actually asked our guest who she was there with. Luckily we were right there, not sure what would have happened if we had been separated.

I wondered the same thing.

I haven't had a chance to investigate further, but given their recent efforts to manage crowd levels, it wouldn't surprise me if that were the case.

That what the flier that came in my mail says and that is not much different from the policy that was used the last few years.
