I’m pretty sure almost everybody thought they were.

It did look like that but after looking at the pictures for a while they are the armrests.

Okay, I see it now. Although I must admit I was excited for a minute about the potential for leg mobility. (In retrospect I realize that would have only been fun until someone got kicked in the shins.)

So it looks like it won't be open for sneak peek or opening weekend? Was hoping to go in March while it's still not hot out and since they hadn't mentioned an opening date yet I was hoping it would coincide!

It's simply too early to know.

If BfE is the reason for an upcoming visit, don't make any plans that can't be changed just yet.

Oh it's definitely not, I really just want some cool weather time in the park and I miss the coasters, but BfE was a major hopeful bonus. Alas. We shall see.

I'm thinking April at the earliest. It's a little bit realistic.

Personally I have never been overly confident about how well the glasses were cleaned. (or if) I know they have the cleaning stations, but did they always get used?

I'd imagine it would cost the park way less to ensure they were cleaned after each use than to risk any liability issues if just one guest caused an outbreak from a weird rash or something. Am I mostly trying to reassure myself here? Absolutely.

I'm sure headset sanitation is on the top of their list of things to do with the new ride.
