Maybe not fashionable, but I wear cargo shorts on most visits. I have a variety of colors and patterns with pockets that fasten. Feel free to point and laugh. Hahaha. Tongue_out_laughing

I use cargo pants/shorts as well. Fashion be damned, those things are great for parks.

I also sport the cargo's. The pockets only button instead of zipping, but nothing has ever fallen out of them. *Knocks on Wood*

I remember standing in line once at the Gryphon off to the right and a cellphone came crashing down on the sidewalk near everyone. Lucky no one was injured.

Oh damn. That's like a modern day Zeus showing his displeasure. But that's exactly what I'm talking about, completely avoidable! Very glad no one was hurt because a free falling iPhone could kill someone. I remember last Spring some teenagers were throwing coins from Mach Tower. I'm not sure that would actually properly injure someone but I'm sure you'd get a nice sting if any of them made a direct hit.

It appears our Merboy is correct!

Scientific American Wrote:Pennies are flat, so they experience a lot of air resistance, and they are light, so it doesn't take much drag to counteract their weight. Thus, if hurled off a skyscraper, pennies achieve their terminal velocity after only about 50 feet (15 meters) of descent. After that point, they flutter to the ground at a measly 25 mph (40 kph), Bloomfield said.

I've seen a shoe fall off on Mach tower. It does indeed sound like thunder when it lands. Luckily it landed inside of the loading area.

I've been hit by a penny that fell off of Griffin. I can validate that it stung, but I am obviously still alive.

The only time I have been hit by anything from a coaster was while I was riding one. Someone decided to spit a whole mouthful of sunflower seeds out on the way down and they were pegging us all in the back of the train. A face full of wet sunflower seeds is pretty dang gross.

That sounds almost as revolting as the time I was riding Berserker with a kid who was spitting every time his side swung upward. Thankfully, I didn't get hit.

Same maz, I was riding I305 in the back. Group of school kids thought it would be funny to throw small rocklets at 90MPH. Luckily, the only one that came at me hit sunglasses. My partner in the other hand, not so much.

I either wear shorts with zippered pockets in the warmer months or wear a hoodie with zippered pockets. I almost lost my wallet on Skyrush at Hershey Park and thats when I decided I needed zippered pockets lol I put everything in there so there's no risk of anything falling out.
