The Raptor track is different than the T-Rex track, yes?

^It is. Raptor track is aimed at smaller parks and as RMC put it, a layout which can be cloned for cheap manufacturing and assembling. It is substantially thinner than T-Rex track and holds trains which seat 1 per row (think Space Mountain WDW).

T-Rex track is much larger, has 6 seater (2 seats, 3 rows) cars, and is aimed for larger parks that can afford large, custom coasters.

I haven't heard anything about either of these two products outside of the short blurb at IAAPA.

I updated the title of this thread to clear up the fact that T-Rex track and Raptor track are two separate products.

Anyway, more information about Raptor track can be found, here. Also, pictures:

As cool as this looks, would it not be a capacity nightmare?

It is designed to be nice and cheap for very small parks. Raptor Track's target park demographic is somewhere between GoKarts Plus and Fun Spot. I could easily see one of these at a place like Adventure Park USA.

For a small park, no, which is what RMC seems to be primarily targeting for. And it also depends on what the park orders. RMC has stated that they have up to 3-train options for this model and would put the capacity at 600 riders per hour. That capacity would be perfect for parks like Holiday World, Kennywood, Kentucky Kingdom, etc.

I really want to see some movement on the T-Rex front, though I am really not sure what the advantages are with this track design over tubular steel. If a park actually buys into this I guess then we will really find out.
