Is it seriously this bad? I'm thinking of hitting it on the way down from Hershey this coming weekend and overnighting in Cockeysville the night before. It would be a Saturday trip. Should I opt to not go because of the weekend? Or this time of year slowing down?

I am not sure about crowd size but it's not seriously that bad in my opinion.

It is SMALL, dirty and as others have said most of the rides are clones and some what ruff. But both Superman and Batwing are worth the trip in my opinion. Just keep in mind that it's about what you would expect in a park that sits right next to a major inner city.

Set your expectations really low, but keep the possibility of enjoying yourself in the back of your mind. The park is never going to blow anyone away, but I'd highly recommend people give it a shot—especially as the weather gets cooler.

Environment needs some help (Six Flags!) and most of the ride collection ranges from average to poor, but the food isn't bad, the staff isn't horrible, and they have two good woodies.

I'm really only interested in the coasters there. I figure it's a bit rough being that close into the District, but would you say the safety aspect is a little overblown? I don't see much in the news about happenings there other than the article from July. It's probably a one-off stop for us and just because we have the time and can make it.

I agree, those are the only two rides worth it in the park. I think Six Flags issue is the rides are too short. Superman is pretty long though.

I personally think it worth a stop. The woodies are much better than many other parks'. Honestly, after suffering through a trip to SFoG, SFA seems great.

I think it gets a bad rap, because it is so close to BGW and KD, but it doesn't really deserve the reputation it has gotten.

My trip to SFoG was nightmarish. I don't know if it was an off day, or if the park is normally that bad.

I went last year and loved the park. It was one of the better SixFlags I've been to.

Isn't that like saying the second circle of hell is one of the better circles of hell?
