You can count on CNN to report on bad news at Sea World these days.

Apparently people were stuck on Skytower. (Video)

Quote:(CNN) -- Four dozen people were stuck for hours on a ride at SeaWorld San Diego on Sunday after a power failure, the amusement park said.

Forty-six riders and two SeaWorld employees were stuck on the Skytower ride for four hours until engineers were able to restore power, the park said.

"The guests were never in danger and park officials were in constant communication with them while the power failure was being addressed," a park spokesman said. "Two SeaWorld employees were also in the Skytower providing guests with water and snacks."

The Skytower takes park visitors on an elevator ride 320-feet high for a panoramic view of the city and the ocean.

Exactly!

How bad is it to be stuck on Skytower? CNN just hates SeaWorld at this point.

For a national news agency to cover this is just crazy, absolutely crazy. But we all know CNN just wants more bad publicity for Seaworld.

What's even more ridiculous than that are the comments. Take this one, for instance:

CNN can report a broken ride but they can't report a bomb threat? I would think the other is much more newsworthy if you had to compare the two.

Is there an evacuation method for the Skytower?

I'm not sure what it is but I can guarantee with 100% certainty that it is worlds better than what the Mondial Windseekers have in place.

Two things.

1. Anything with SeaWorld in the title is news. Neither story is really newsworthy, however, CNN (et al) knows what words gets the clicks. Most people have no clue SeaWorld and Busch Gardens are related.

2. San Diego (home of Ron Burgundy) > Williamsburg

Edited for grammar.

It seems that the fire department and not the park is being blamed. That can't match CNN's intent.
