Except Doctor Who is older than BGW, and goes through this every single time there's a new Doctor or Companion.

So it doesn't matter, because there is always going to be that debate. Whether you want it or not.

That was unnecessary.  I was being sarcastic.  Hence [/sarcasm]

It's not like you were attacked or jumped on, Cody. I had to think about the conversation for a second, but I got it.

Man it is a long time till the next episode starts, the wait is killing me!

Well, the 8th doctor forgot who he was, what eh was and everything, but he did remember after a time. Maybe we will just be gettign an episode where he needs time to remember everything. Giving us moments like the doctor seeing strax and saying something about Blimey! A Giant talking Potato!

That might make me stop watching altogether.  I do not watch DW for wacky hijinks, and as I've said before, I think that TV movie was crap.  It was like some awful RomCom.

I will wait and see before I pass judgement on this but as I said before in the all for one thread these things usally strike me as pc and gimmicky. I have nothing against string female roles some of my favorite character have been string females and female leads but I don't feel the need to put one in every show or movie. And Dr Eho has had several strong maybe even stronger then the Dr roles in its time.

The show will suck whether the lead is a woman or not. I don't care.

It baffles me how people view a woman in a man's role as a "PC issue". Maybe it's just a woman playing a part.
