Have you seen The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel? So good! And also by Amy S-P!

I did not know that. If it has her typical pacing, wit, charm, intelligence, pop culture references, and usual quirky casting, it cant lose!

It absolutely does! You can hear it in the quick-paced banter and, as you mentioned, the references and high-brown jokes that are hallmark to her writing. That said, it has its own personality overall so it's not like watching Gilmore Girls but with a new cast, if you see what I mean.

I adore Mrs. Maisel!  Rachel Brosnahan is a delight start to finish, and I like the way the character of Joel started getting more depth in the last couple of episodes of the season - he's not just a total lame schmuck.

I do hope the writers and production team keep an eye on avoiding anachronisms.  E.g., there was a reference to tsunamis by Midge's friend, and honestly until recent years I think the general layperson usage would have been "tidal wave" - and a few other references that struck me as likely to be more contemporary usage. But that's picking nits - Mrs. Maisel is a real treat. And I want it to last! It's a shame Bunheads only had one season, with the wonderful Sutton Foster - but at least she is in Younger now, also a fun series.

I really hope they produce another "season" of Gilmore Girls. It is interesting to note that several of the core cast members from Bun Heads showed up last year in the handful of episodes they produced.

I went on a nostalgia trip last night. Years ago there used to be a channel called Discovery Kids which had a couple discovery based shows but its main focus was original kids programming with great shows such as Mystery Hunters, Truth or Scare, Outward Bound and the Strange days of Blake Holsey High. Well as i was looking through Youtube i managed to find all the seasons for Mystery Hunters, Truth or Scare and Mentors as well as several episodes of Timeblazers. So i spent most of last and this morning on a nostalgia binge watch and reliving old childhood memories. For those in watching these great shows the channels are Truth or Scare, DKUK Tapes and Encore+
