I'd hate to be the one clearing all the wood. I wonder how many splinters the workers have gotten or how many nails have been stepped on?

Clear the wood? Fire will do; dance around the ashes and whatnot.

Fire would only do if the wood wasn't pressurized treated with preserving chemicals! Tongue

According to Lance's "trusted" sources, B&M is confirmed to be the replacement for SoB. They haven't confirmed what type of ride it will be, but early signals are pointing at a Wing Coaster.

ScreamScape is saying Wing Rider. I am surprised Cedar Fair is putting one in at Kings Island with Cedar Point having just opened one and being so close together.

Kings Island and Cedar Point are technically in different marketing areas. Cedar Point appeals to Northern Ohio, Western PA, West Virginia, and Southern Michigan. Kings Island appeals to Southern Ohio, Western Indiana, and Kentucky.

While yes I agree that it seems stupid to have two similar coasters in the same state only four hours away from each other, a Wing Coaster is something Kings Island needs to round out their line up. It's either that or an Inverted coaster, both of which would be very welcome at that park.

This.

Kings Island pulls in a totally different market mostly from Cincinnati, Louisville and Indianapolis while Cedar Point gets Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh and even some from the Windsor, Canada area. The only major metro area they share equally is Columbus.

I wish they'd put in a custom invert since B&M hasn't done many of those other than Oziris at Parc Asterix.
