It should be done this coming Spring, it was a three year project I believe.

They better have good seat backs for the front seat, not like the very painful short ones on Shenandoah at KD. Otherwise, it's pretty reassuring that Le Scoot will be around for a long time to come.

I imagine Mack will probably supply the boats knowing that the chain is slowly building a steady relationship with them. Also, am I the only person who noticed that the boats look like barrels and not, well, logs? Tongue *fingers crossed they return the red sky buckets*

I really wouldn't call one roller coaster a "steady relationship."

Although, I don't disagree, Mack will most likely supply the boats. It's pretty much the only option other than Intamin, and we all know the park would never go with them. Tongue

Aw shoot, most Mack logs have a short front seat back.

I'm serious, I shouldn't have to support myself from falling backwards while going up the lift. So annoying.

Why would you need to support yourself? You're already sitting against a backrest, even if you're sitting in the front.

I can't find a good picture, but Shenandoah Lumber Co.'s logs have very, very small backrests. They're just little protrusions of the cushioned seats that go about half a foot up, separating the bench into two portions. As opposed to Le Scoot where there is a large divider in the logs, providing two areas of support.

One of the original rides was the Log Flume and this year, the ride will get all new boats, a new structure underneath and a new system to control the flow of water. In the rear is the new boat, with a more open seating area, and larger cushioned back rest.
