The Elephant Insider tour at Busch Gardens Tampa allows visitors an in-depth look into the care and training of the park's Asian elephants. The tour costs $29, and pass member discounts do apply. The experience is available to book online, and is offered on select dates (currently on weekends only at 10:30 a.m.)

Observe training methods and see the keeper/animal connection in action as trainers and elephants relate and communicate.

The experience's restrictions/disclaimers:

Quote:Please pick up your tickets no later than one hour before your tour time at the Up Close Adventure Center as soon as you enter the park. You will receive tickets and a map with instructions on when/where to check in for your tour.

Due to the walking nature of this program, wheelchairs cannot be accommodated at this time. All programs are subject to availability. Park admission is required and is not included. Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices listed are per person and do not include tax. Must be 10 years of age or older to participate. Program components may vary.

After a hiatus for several months, this tour has returned starting today. It also carries a new price of $29 (up from $19).
